GRACE FILLED WOMEN LIFE GROUP RESUMES Thursday, September 3, 1:30 - 3:30 PM at the church.
This group meets on the first and third Thursday of the month. They will be using the book

WORKDAY - Saturday, September 12, 8:00 AM - Noon. Donuts and coffee will be provided. We have many projects planned and need lots of volunteers. There is a project for every ability. Some of them are painting, putting up a drop ceiling, spackling walls, replacing outside faucets, and updating downspouts.
CHURCH NOTES:
BEVERAGES - The only beverage permitted in the sanctuary is water if necessary. Thank you for taking care of His sanctuary.
SECURITY - For protection of the congregation, all the exterior doors, except the double doors at the rear of the sanctuary, will be locked at 10:00 AM.
ANNOUNCEMENT:
HOMETOWN HEROS BREAKFAST - Honoring our firefighters, police, medical workers, vets and all hometown heroes - Saturday, September 5, 8:00 10:00 AM at the Dream Center, 204 1st Avenue, Burnham, PA 17009 All heroes are Welcome! This breakfast is free, but donations are accepted
CENTRE UNION CHURCH CARES:
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD BOXES -
In September we will be collecting
pencils, pencil sharpeners, erasures, pens, crayons, colored pencils, markers, small calculators, and small notebooks that will fit in the Christmas Child boxes. There is a sample of the box size on the side of the stage. There is a bin in the front of the sanctuary for donated items.
CHURCH RELATED INFORMATION:
GIGS (Ladies Fellowship) is being planned but the plans are not yet finalized. They will be announced when complete.
BASKET FOR BABIES - In September we are collecting gifts for Rudy and Hannah Yoder baby. Our church puts out a basket for couples expecting their first baby. They are expecting a girl. If you would like to bless this couple with a gift or a gift card, put it in the basket that will be in the front of the church next month. See Ellen Hartsock if you have any questions.
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO HELP WITH FUNERAL MEALS. See Lisa Baitsell if you are interested in in helping. For those interested in helping, there will be a short meeting after church in a few weeks.

“Prayer Requests & Praises”, fill out the form, and submit the prayer request. When the prayer request is no longer needed, request its removal on the same web page.
HELPING HANDS MINISTRY
This ministry provides a meal for those in our church who have returned home from being hospitalized. If you would like to volunteer to provide a meal for someone, see

CENTRE UNION CHURCH DOCTRINAL STATEMENT
If you would like to learn what our church believes based on the Bible, pick up a copy from the front table. Also, this is a good document to give to someone so that they know what our church believes.
WE HAVE SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES FOR ALL AGES
If you, or your children, are not currently attending Sunday School and would like to do so, there is information at each entrance to the sanctuary with the teachers’ names and room numbers.
