THE YOUTH ICE FESTIVAL PROJECT December 4th and 5th - The Youth are making soup to hand out to families during the Ice Festival. They would appreciate food donations for ingredients to make the soup. There is a sign up sheet for ingredients needed. Food donations are needed by December 3.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS” CELEBRATION - Sunday, December 7. Centre Union Church is celebrating Christ’s birthday. We will have the Children’s Christmas Program, a “Happy Birthday Jesus Offering” that is separate from your normal offering which will go towards our mortgage reduction, and a fellowship meal in the Fellowship Center after the church service. Please sign up if you are planning to attend the meal.
LIFE GROUPS - Sunday, December 7:
- Jim Steele’s Life Group is 6:00-7:00 PM at the church
- The Young’s Life Group is at 5:00 PM at their home.
S.W.A.G. YOUTH GROUP CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION - Sunday, December 7, 5:00-7:00 PM. Hot chocolate bar.
SEASONED SAINTS - Monday, December 8. Meet at the church at 9:45 AM to go to William Penn to sing Christmas carols. Then return to the church for our Christmas Luncheon. No need to bring food. However, please sign up if you are attending the luncheon so we know how many to expect.

BEVERAGES – The only beverage permitted in the sanctuary is water if necessary. Thank you for taking care of His sanctuary.
SECURITY – For protection of the congregation, all the exterior doors, except the double doors at the rear of the sanctuary, will be locked at 10:00 AM.

THE CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PROGRAM - Sunday, December 7. This will be during the morning worship service.
THE CHRISTMAS CANTATA - Sunday, December 21
during the morning worship. Invite someone to come and hear the music of the season.
- During our Cantata the Nursery won’t be staffed. It will be open if someone needs to use it but it won’t be staffed until after the Cantata
- There will be no Sunday School on December 21
CHRISTMAS EVE CANDLELIGHT SERVICE - Wednesday, December 24, 6:00 PM. The Candlelight service is a wonderful way to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. Light a candle to remember that God sent his only son Jesus to be the light of the world. Jesus is the light of the world, even in darkness.

VOLUNTEERS FOR THE NURSERY - Our church has been blessed with many young children and the need for nursery help has grown. If you are interested in volunteering to be in the nursery, see Pastor Shane.

WEBSITE UPDATE COMING THIS WEEK:
Centre Union Church will be transitioning our website into a new provider this week. The overall look and layout will remain the same so you can easily find everything you’re used to. However, this upgrade will give us the ability to add new content, update information more quickly, and better support our ministries moving forward.
During the transition, parts of the website may be briefly unavailable. Thank you for your patience as we work to improve our online resources for our church family and community. After the transition this week, if anyone continues to have issues, email the Sound Techs at soundtechs@centreunion.church.
CHRISTMAS CARDS EXCHANGE FOR OUR “CHURCH FAMILY” - The card exchange will be December 14 until December 28. There will be three tables in the hallway. Each table will have a sign to indicate the first letter of the last names on the table. The cards will be in approximate alphabetical order by last name. The Church Directory is available as a reference for names. Don’t forget to pick up your cards!
INCLEMENT WEATHER - In case of inclement weather, church cancellations will be posted on the Home Page of the church’s web site and our Facebook page.

“Prayer Requests & Praises”, fill out the form, and submit the prayer request. When the prayer request is no longer needed, request its removal on the same web page.
HELPING HANDS MINISTRY
This ministry provides a meal for those in our church who have returned home from being hospitalized. If you would like to volunteer to provide a meal for someone, see

If you would like to learn what our church believes based on the Bible, pick up a copy from the front table. Also, this is a good document to give to someone so that they know what our church believes.
WE HAVE SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES FOR ALL AGES
If you, or your children, are not currently attending Sunday School and would like to do so, there is information at each entrance to the sanctuary with the teachers’ names and room numbers.
